Hispañola is the second largest island in the Caribbean. The Dominican Republic covers 48734 km², which is about two-thirds of the island. Columbus called the island the most beautiful land human eyes have ever seen. Visitors to the Dominican Republic can still confirm this statement. A lot is still as original as the times of Columbus, in particular the nature, which was and is more carefully treated by the inhabitants, than most other Caribbean islands.
Besides the fantastic tropical nature, the native people are friendly and hospitable. The climate is tropical with little seasonal temperature variation. The average annual temperature fluctuates between 32º C in August and 22º C in January.
You can discover true paradise with all senses: smell the sumptuous Flora, the spicy taste of native meals, feel the warmth and mild winds, hear the sounds of the ocean and the rhythm of Merengue.
